Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition Access Database Synchronizer provides a way to synchronize data between Microsoft Access database on a desktop. This version is the first release. The download is installed after the installation of Visual Studio 2005 SP1 and updates the Smart Device Development components in Visual Studio 2005 SP1 with the SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition design time UI/Dialogs, device CAB files, and includes new features like Click Once support. Verify that Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition is not in your programs. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features If the software is installed, you will see the blue item (highlighted for viewing ease).

Pros
I needed (well, 'wanted') to run Microsoft's Photo Gallery editor. I still use it for a changing some photos because it's so quick and easy. Unfortunately, it lost support. Thanks to CNET, I was able to get it running.
Cons
So far, there's no 'cons'. I haven't had an issue.
