Access the Mod The Sims website. Mod The Sims has a guide (http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Installing_Sims_3_Package_Files/Setup_and_Files) that supplies you with the necessary files to create the directory. You'll need to unzip the FrameworkSetup.zip
- If you've gotten the files from the page that greenplumbbob linked you to, you just extract that whole archive into the Sims 3 folder in Documents, Then, when you have confirmed it is working, make your sub-folder for NRAAS and put Master Controller in it.
- Since each new version of NRaas mods has the same filename as the old, simply copy the new file into the same directory as the old and it will automatically replace the previous install. You should also delete the 'scriptCache.package' file located in your 'My Documents' Sims 3 folder.
Leave a like, if you want more NRaas tutorials. In order to extract zip/rar files, you'll need a program such as 7-Zip (http:/. I hope you found this helpful.

- The FrameworkSetup file will contain the necessary framework for your mods - a folder named Overrides, a folder named Packages, and a file named
Resource.cfg
. The Packages folder will already have two files in it (nobuildsparkles.package
andnointro.package
) so you'll be able to check if your mods will work. If you start up your game and get no intro animation, nor any sparkles when placing walls or fences, everything is working. - Very old versions of The Sims 3 (prior to the release of World Adventures and its patch) would have mods and content in the Program Files directory. This no longer works - do not attempt to place custom content in the wrong directory and do not use Monkey Bars or Helper Monkey to install your content.
Hey! I'm a longer time Sims 3 player trying to install mods for the first time. I've followed the directions on the nraas site up to deleting the caches files. I just can't find them! I don't know if it has to do with the fact that my Sims 3 base game is downloaded through Origin while my expansion packs are located in my EA folder. But, I've searched for these babies high and low and can't find them (even used search ALL libraries). Has anyone else had this problem? Help please!
