Hello,

I'm trying to figure this out, but I can't find reliable information on Google. How well does Nexus Mod Manager install mods on Dragon Age: Origins? Joe budden all love lost download. Does it work well (like with Skyrim), or is it (highly) recommended to download mods manually and install through DAModder or DA:O-ModManager?

Also, where can I find information about how to install mods in the correct order? For example, I'd like to install DA:O Redesigned as well as a bunch of other mods, but I'm not sure which I should install first and how to avoid any conflict. EDIT: for example, JB3 apparently needs to be installed first (source: http://www.pcgamer.com/2010/11/18/18-essential-dragon-age-mods/). Any others I need to know about?

Thanks for the help!

Once, I was a console gamer, and on my 360, I beat DA:O 3 or 4 times. However, I moved to PC gaming eventually, and sold my 360, along with all of the games. But with all of the hype around Inquisition, I recently started getting back into Dragon Age, and bought the Ultimate Edition off of the Origin store. Mods are a major reason that I dropped consoles for PC and, having beaten the game several times, I'd like a fresh experience while building save files for Inquisition.

I checked around and was pleased to discover that there is (or was) a modding community around DA:O and DA2. I looked into several different mods, and began compiling a list of mods that looked interesting or added something that I felt was missing from the core experience. Much like my Skyrim list, this became extensive, but I'm a fairly experienced modder, and wasn't too worried about making them all work together in glorious harmony. Of course, I also know that I know just enough to really fuck myself over if I'm not careful. So I was still taking my time, delving into the readmes, sorting my mods into carefully organized filetrees, doing my due diligence, when I hit a snag.

I have two hard drives. On one, I keep all of my personal data, most importantly, games. On the other, I keep my OS and any core utilities that I rely on (Q-Dir, antivirus, browser, etc.). I'd told Origin to only install games to my personal drive, but it appears that some games (particularly, I've noticed, Bioware and Bethesda titles) like to use the C: drive, specifically the C:/<User>/Documents/Games folder. Steam appears to be pretty good at keeping everything on one drive, going so far as to create a false 'Program Files <x86>' folder in its root directory, but Origin..isn't.

TL;DR: Which override folder do I need to use, the one on my C: drive or the one in my install directory? All of the readmes seem to assume that they're one and the same.
